Valparai Temple

  Balaji temple
Balaji temple is owned by the Peria Karamalai tea Industries. Situated in Karamalai. Very famous beautiful temple. Situated at a distance of 10kms from Valparai.On Saturday and Sunday each week, a large number of tourists arrive to worship. Bus, taxi and van facilities are available to visit this temple.
 
  Sidhi Vinayagar Temple
It is 5 km from Solaiyar. A statue of Vinayagar weighing about 3.5 kg is located in this temple. It is constructed with a single rock.
  Karamalai Annai Velankanni Church

Karamalai Annai Velankanni Church is situated 10 km from Valparai , a hill station on the Anamalai range , in Coimbatore District .This newly constructed church is renowned for the miracles worked by the holy Vellankanni Matha. The Athirapally Falls join the Chalakkudy River after plummeting a drop of 80 feet.

This falls is situated within Nadumalai Estate. Very near to Valparai Town . This falls can be named after Mr. C.R.T. Congreve, one of the early explorers of this hill.

  Sholayar Dam

Sholayar Dam is situated 20 km from Valparai , a hill station on the Anamalai range in Coimbatore District . It is the second deepest dam in Asia . With its scenic surroundings, the dam is a busy tourist spot in the hidden forest area. A part of the hydroelectric project of Tamil Nadu , special permission is required to visit the dam.Valparai is located 64 km from Pollachi and 55 km from Chalakudi . Situated at a distance of 15 kms. from Valparai. Grass hills is a picturesque spot located in the Valparai hills range, at a height of approx: 2400m msl, with cool climate getting cooler at night, a part of Indira Gandhi Wild Life Sanctuary. Right now all efforts are being undertaken by the government to preserve the flora and fauna of this location. Nilgiri Thar is native of this place apart from Elephants, Bison, Indian Gaur, Bear, Nilgiri Langurs etc.. and a wide variety of birds including Hornbills.

This is a beautiful view point to view Aliar Dam & surrounding mountains of western Ghats. This is situated in 9 th hairpin bend.

This rock bears the survey markings of the erstwhile Cochin and Travancore States and has a breathtaking view, with a sheer drop of well over 1000 feet, of the Edamalayar reservoir and jungles below, which is home to a number of tribal settlements.This is also a beautiful view point. One of the oldest teak trees more than 500 yrs. old is still alive in Valparai, Sheikalmudi forest area of Valparai Taluk, which measures 90 feet height and 23.5 feet girth.
